BBC features Castlands Road, our Catford garden plot self-build
Our self-built family home in Catford, south-east London has been featured by the BBC this week.
The article tells the story of how we identified and purchased a small garden plot behind a Victorian terrace and designed a new house on the site. The project explores how overlooked urban land – including garden plots, side plots and back-land sites – can create opportunities for new homes within established London neighbourhoods.
At Bricolage Projects we work with homeowners and small landowners to explore the potential of unusual sites, including garden plot development, infill housing and small self-build opportunities across London.
